Implemented Hyperion ARM v11.1.2.4 for Entergy’s 16000+ account reconciliations. Designed and implemented complex risk rating and frequency rules and all FDMEE/ODI interfaces for ARM including interfaces with: PeopleSoft GL, AR, AP, HCM, Treasury Cash Management, Treasury Deal Management and additional third party applications.

Served as the system administrator for HFM & FDM providing support to end users. Lead the upgrade of HFM & FDM from 11.1.2.1 to 11.1.2.2, including project management, metadata & data migration, data validation, system testing and provided end-user training. Lead the implementation of FCM’s Close Manager and Reconciliation Manager Modules, including gathering functional and technical requirements. Implemented a custom open interface adapter in FDMEE/ODI to extract GL and Bank statement data from PeopleSoft and load directly into ARM. Automate all data loads into ARM. Lead the upgrade of FCM/ARM/FDMEE/ODI from 11.1.2.2 to 11.1.2.3.
Implemented enhancements to Carlyle’s ARM application including implementing a new data integration from PeopleSoft into ARM, implementing statutory reconciliations and developing several custom utilities to assist Carlyle with managing their ARM application like automated ARM data loads, FDMEE mapping checks and ARM frequency checks. Also served as an HFM/FDM admin resource for Carlyle’s ongoing backlog of enhancements.

Implemented an FDM solution to automate data loads into HFM & Essbase using a single extract from the source system. Developed custom scripts to generate monthly load files from the source system full year extracts. These files were then loaded to both HFM & Essbase ensuring that the same data exists in both systems. The Essbase data load process included custom clear and aggregation calculation scripts. Automated entire load process with email notifications upon success and failures (including attachments detailing the kick outs and/or load errors).
Migrated Cadence Bank’s FDM classic application solution to FDMEE v11.1.2.4. This included configuring FDMEE to incorporate all the features of FDM and re-writing all of Cadence Bank’s FDM scripts in Jython, including the custom scripts used to generate FDMEE load files from their source system extract. Also re-configured all FDM automation in FDMEE. Developed custom batch scripts in FDMEE to mimic the functionality of the FDM classic Task Manager.

Upgraded LORD’s Oracle EPM applications from 11.1.2.2 to 11.1.2.4. This included a lift and shift of their HFM, EPMA and Calculation Manager applications. Developed LORD’s FDM Classic application solution in FDMEE, including converting all scripts to Jython and implementing an automated load process with a custom solution to replicate FDM Classic’s auto map to suspense members functionality and email notifications containing load status and reports on what data was loaded to suspense members.

Implemented an automated data integration between Keystone’s Essbase application and HFM utilizing FDM. A single FDM task flow was created to complete the following tasks: extracting full year Balance Sheet & Income Statement data using MaxL scripts, generating monthly load files for FDM, automating the loading of the files into HFM and sending an email notification with the results including attachments with validation or load errors.

Responsible for all assessment & issue resolution activities related to HFM and FDMEE. Performed system enhancements related to FDMEE's data load processes. Streamlined all EPM inter-application integration scripts, reducing the scripts from 77 to 5. Re-configured the Hyatt hotel data loads in FDMEE to load into a global ASO Essbase cube, then setup lights out automation of the loads to Hyatt’s regional Planning applications. This reduced the # of locations from 380 to 190 and reduced the # of import formats from 380 to 2.

Lead architect on NetApp’s Hyperion ARM implementation. Developed custom FDMEE adapters to integrate Oracle E-Business Suite with ARM. Integrations included General Ledger balances, statutory balances, Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable sub ledger balances and exchange rates. Worked directly with the business to develop an ARM application to accommodate the needs for 2000+ global account reconciliations. Automated data loads into ARM.

Assisted with the migration of FDM & ODI from 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.2.3. Developed new FDM/ODI interfaces to extract balances from their source systems and load it to HFM & Essbase. Developed custom FDM import formats that would run ODI scenarios to extract data from source system and then import that data into FDM. Developed a custom ETL process to extract data from HFM for loading to Essbase. Created a stored procedure containing a series of queries to extract base level data, journal data, elimination data and exchange rate data directly from the HFM database and load it to an HFM fact table that EIS would use to load the data into Essbase.

Developed a custom HFM to Essbase data integration using FDM and an HFM’s Extended Analytics extract. An HFM task flows would generate the EA extract, execute batch scripts to move the EA extract from HFM to FDM and FDM’s automation scripts would take the files and load them to Essbase. FDM would also run custom clear and aggregation calculation scripts during the load process with email notifications of successful/failed data loads.
